Journalism Students. Real Stories. Published Work.

The CTNP Student Newsroom is where learning becomes journalism.

It provides students and emerging journalists with an opportunity to pitch, report, produce and publish stories while receiving editorial guidance along the way.

From campus stories and community reporting to investigations, features and digital storytelling, the newsroom is designed to give emerging journalists something more valuable than a classroom exercise:

published work they can put their name to.

More Than a Publication

Every story is an opportunity to learn.

Participants may receive editorial feedback, mentorship and guidance throughout the reporting process. Their published work can also become part of a professional portfolio as they prepare for careers in journalism.

This is where emerging journalists stop saying “I want to be a journalist” and start showing it.
